The Spin series is a meditative series of paintings. The circular compositions are kinetic and calming at the same time. Using gradations and color transitions to draw the eye inwards towards the peaceful center. I am fascinated by color gradients and the transition from red orange to sky blue in this painting creates a receding effect which activates the dramatic blue and yellow at the center.
