Orbital is a meditative series of coded art prints. An exploration of the power of rhythm and color to awaken memory and association within us. Color is a powerful sense memory that reaches deep into the subliminal. What fascinates me most about color and their relationships, is how no two people perceive the same thing. The emotions and associations they provoke are as unique as each persons experience.
I chose to use simple circles for this series because they are a perfect embodiment of this idea. They have no beginning or end points, they are universal and identical and yet each is unique and distinct.
