I often work from photographs that I take while out walking around town. I get color palette inspiration from them or perhaps just a mood inspiration. This piece was inspired by a particularly clear LA morning, the kind that only comes along rarely, after a storm has cleared the usual smog that haunts the Angeleno sky.
The startling blue of the sky and the ever present LA sun are the color anchors for this piece.
